Freedom in Christ & Grace Course

Freedom in Christ Course

The Community Church runs several FiC courses every year.

The course runs for approximately 12 weeks and many of the church have themselves been through the course and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

There are three basic components of a Freedom in Christ course, which are:

  1. Discipleship teaching that helps Christians understand who they are in Christ, the nature of the spiritual battle, and how to move on to maturity.
  2. A ministry process called The Steps To Freedom In Christ. This is run between sessions 9 and 10 of the course and helps Christians deal with negative influences and unresolved spiritual conflicts. It is straightforward, gentle and kind. It is generally facilitated by other Christians who are part of The Community Church.
  3. Help to stand firm in the freedom gained, especially through renewing the mind (Romans 12:2).

Freedom in Christ Grace Course

The Grace Course is a tool for churches to help Christians recover their first love for God so that they go on to love others and make a great impact on the world. Its objective is to enable Christians to experience God’s grace in such a deep and real way that love for Him becomes the main motivator in their lives.

It teaches the wonderful truths of grace but has an emphasis on helping people experience that grace. There are practical exercises, times of listening to God and a gentle ministry component: The Steps To Experiencing God’s Grace.

This is a follow on to the Freedom in Christ Course.
