Thy Kingdom Come - Thursday 21st to Sunday 31st May 2020

Here are some ways you can get involved in Thy Kingdom Come from Ascension Day Thursday 21st to Pentecost Sunday 31st May 2020

Pray Everyday

Twice a Day – One Voice

Get involved with the Unite714 campaign and join churches across the world praying daily at 7:14 each morning and night.

Pray through May

Every night throughout May, Sue Garb is hosting 15 minutes of prayer at 9.15pm on the TCC Private Facebook Group

Light a candle

Every evening during Thy Kingdom Come could you light a candle in your home and place it in a window?
Simply ask God to bring light into every dark area of our lives, our streets and to bring light to every dark place in Burton upon Trent.

Zoom Prayer Meeting

Join our Tuesday night Zoom Prayer Meetings at 8pm to 9pm.

Contact Sarah at the office for the Zoom details.

Sunday Morning Live

On Sunday 24th and 31st at 12-12.30pm we will be live streaming on YouTube. This should give you chance to watch our prerecorded service first then join us for live chat, a few thoughts and to pray together.

Love Thy Neighbour – Five Friends

As we do every year as part of Thy Kingdom Come, we would love you to pray for 5 friends who don’t know Jesus. Write a list of 5 friends and pray for them everyday. Ask them if you can pray for anything specifically and step out in faith. Do something special for each of them to show them how much you love them.

Throughout Thy Kingdom Come try using the BLESS acrostic that can help us to focus on all of the felt needs of those we are praying for:
Body – health, protection, energy
Labour – employment/unemployment, retirement, adequate income
Emotional – inner peace, joy, wisdom, insight, patience
Social – healthy relationships between spouses, parents, children, friends
Spiritual – repentance, salvation, obedience, faith

Prayer Resources

On the Thy Kingdom Come website you can find a fantastic range of resources for children, young people, adults and families, schools, churches and small groups.
